Suzanne is a holistic wellness practitioner with over 20 years of experience supporting the body, mind, and spirit.

Massage Therapy

 

Certified as a Massage Therapist in 2005, Suzanne brings experience from both spa and clinical settings. Her integrative approach draws on Eastern and Western perspectives to support whole-body wellness.

Suzanne believes regular massage therapy is an essential part of a healthy lifestyle and can  support the body’s natural rhythms and innate capacity for health and healing. It plays a valuable role in preventive and rehabilitative care while also promoting mental and emotional well-being.

 

Yoga & Ayurveda

Suzanne is an ERYT 200 yoga instructor.  From her very first yoga class she felt a very deep connection to the practice.  She most appreciates the meditative aspects of the breath-mind-body connection .  She enjoys bringing classes to practitioners of all ages and abilities.

A natural extension of  seeking  yogic knowledge, Suzanne has completed 350 hours of study in Ayurveda.  She looks forward to continuing to deepening her understanding of this holistic approach to health and well-being.

Movement and Somatics

In May of 2020, Suzanne graduated with her M.S. of Dance Movement Therapy.  As a dancer and dance teacher for many years she already believed in the healing and restorative nature of dance and expressive creative movement.  Studying the creative therapies rooted in polyvagal theory, gave her a deeper understanding of the inherent healing nature of the arts, as well as, the growing field of somatics.   She plans to continue her studies of somatic healing to begin offering sessions in the near future.

Additional Integrative Therapies

Sound Healing:  Suzanne has explored vibrational sound healing  as a complementary practice to massage therapy and Reiki, as well as, playing sound bowls for relaxed meditative states.  As her studies continue, she looks forward to offering these sessions.

Myofascial Release:  The fascia is truly the most integrative system of the body; the bridge in the 'mind-body connection'.  Keeping a healthy fascial system is key to overall health.  Sessions coming soon!

Gyrokinesis: An integrative approach to mobility and flexibility with roots in yoga.

Qi Gong:   Similar to Thai Chi, Qi Gong is a meditative movement practice utilizing the 5 Elements to strengthen Chi (life force) in the body to promote health and longevity.
